Pax Lodge London

Pax Lodge is one of four World Centres of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). The centre is situated in Hampstead, North London. Our facilities are perfect for groups, large or small, who would like to experience a memorable atmosphere. The Centre is also an ideal destination for schools, youth groups and even families who would like to experience a unique home-like environment.Pax Lodge is open year round (with the exception of four days over Christmas) and our accommodation consists of shared, basic twin, ensuite twin, single, and ensuite single rooms. Shared rooms sleep three, four, six or seven people. We are able to accommodate up to 65 guests across two floors. All rooms have bedding and towels provided and have wardrobes and a desk and chair. Cots can be provided for babies if needed.We have a kitchen onsite and can meet all your meal requirements within our dinning room, we also have a guest kitchen available for use. Other amenities include; washing facilities, Wifi access throughout and communal lounges.

Directions

The nearest underground station to Pax Lodge is Belsize Park. It is on the Northern Line and located in zone 2. From central London, make sure that you are on a train with the destination to Edgware. The other northbound trains on the Northern Line (Mill Hill or High Barnet), divide at Camden Town, and do not pass through Belsize Park. Please note that there is one set of stairs (approx.19 steps) at Belsize Park Underground Station, followed by an elevator to street level.From Belsize Park, leave the underground station and turn right. Walk along Haverstock Hill past a number of shops and restaurants, BP Petrol Station and the George Pub. (It is approximately a 10 - 15 minute walk depending on how much luggage you have) You will come to a set of traffic lights with a church on either side of the road. Turn left onto Lyndhurst Road and Olave Centre is the large whitebuilding next to the red church. Come to the glass door by the colourful banner to be welcomed to Pax Lodge.
